KARACHI: Hafiz Hussain Ahmed, Deputy Parliamentary Leader Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) said Sunday that the decision of Supreme Council to resign from the seats of National Assembly is last and final and only the strategy of tendering the resignations would be worked out at the meeting scheduled on December 7.
Addressing at a protest rally organized by MMA against Women Protection Bill (WPB), he hoped that Muslim League (N) and other opposition parties would leave the legislative houses after MMA members’ resignations from National Assembly.
Condemning People’s Party’s support for WPB, Hafiz Hussain Ahmed said that MMA stood by them at every critical moment.
MMA leader said that now it is up to Mian Nawaz Sharif to decide to side with or part with the bill.
